Revised Architectural Guidelines
Cotswold’s covenants
provide for architectural control in the community. These covenants describe
various rules and permitted uses and specify that the Board may create
additional architectural guidelines to maintain the community’s appearance.
Cotswold last revised its architectural guidelines in June 2009. Over the
past few months, members of the Board and the architectural committee
proposed an update to the guidelines that clarify a few items.
The Board of Directors
approved and adopted the new guidelines in June 2009. Please discard
previous versions that you may have and refer to the enclosed copy for any
changes that you plan for your property.
The guidelines contain
relatively few content changes as described on page 3 (Revision History).
We would like to remind
all homeowners to take a moment and review the Architectural Guideline
changes.
Please contact RS Fincher
& Company at 362-1460 if you have any questions.

Reminders
For new homeowners it is
important that you take a few minutes to review the covenants, conditions
and restrictions that you should have received when you purchased your home.
If you do not have a copy of the covenants for your lot, you can obtain a
set from the Wake County Register of Deeds (www.wakegov.com).
It is also important that you become familiar with Cotswold’s architectural
guidelines. You can obtain the guidelines and all the necessary forms on
Cotswold’s Web site (www.cotswoldhoa.org).
As a reminder, any change to the appearance of your home or property,
including major landscaping, requires approval. If you have any
questions about the request process, please contact RS Fincher & Co.
